Located in the rugged hills just 3 miles from downtown Salida, and 2 miles from extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, this home offers the perfect combination of rural quiet and small town amenities. Several of the home's stylish features were constructed from barn wood salvaged from an old Missouri farm, as well as other recycled materials, thanks to the owners' earth-conscious habits (and impeccable taste!)

While this is a duplex all that is shared is the garages and parking. so you don't hear the neighbors if their TV is turned up to high. Inside you will find a nice fully furnished house that sleeps 7. one King bed with Privat bathroom one Queen bed One Bunk bed with Double bed on the bottom and single bed up top.

The River Retreat, right off of Hwy 50, is a short 10 minute drive from historical downtown Salida. This beautiful home sits just above the Arkansas River with stairs leading to the private riverfront property. Gold medal fishing, rafting, kayaking and swimming from the back door. Here you can get away from the business of life and recharge in nature, yet are so close to town. Hikes nearby and a great deck to just sit and let stress melt away as you listen to the sound of the river flow by.

Peak View Condo Rooftop Deck Heart of Salida

This modern townhouse is located in the heart of downtown Salida with fabulous mountain views from the rooftop deck with a grill and propane fire pit. Kid friendly with full washer/dryer, toys, children's dishes, baby gates, and a pack-n-play. The master has a king bed and ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has a queen bed with a soaking tub and shower. There is an office on the ground level with a half bath and a twin futon. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. Peakview @ Royal Gorge

The Peakview Cabin faces West, providing mountain backdrops and scenes of native pinyon pines and juniper for you to enjoy. Relax in the evening by the propane fire pit at your personal outdoor area in Adirondack chairs. The A-frame cabin features a cozy living area, a kitchenette, one bedroom, and private bathroom and shower. With one queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sized pull out sofa in the living room, we recommend the Peakview cabin for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 kids.
