The facility features symbolic items related to Japanese national alcoholic beverages, including large wooden barrel displays and various tools, along with exhibitions of sake vessels from various regions. Visitors can also sample approximately 100 varieties of Japanese sake, Honkaku Shochu, and Mirin which items change almost every month. Street Food Japan Shibuya Food Story

After meeting up at the Hachiko Statue, we will begin our 3-hour Shibuya food tour at the world famous Shibuya crossing amidst the dazzling neon lights and popular shops. Finding your way through one of the most populated cities in the world can seem overwhelming at first. Our guided tour will help you navigate Shibuya like a pro and allow you to experience all of the traditional foods that Japanese cuisine has to offer. From izakaya style dishes and other special dishes and discover the city through a local perspective. My experience is designed for a small group so that you can experience a great culinary experience where local Japanese who are also particular about their food go to satisfy their cravings. Other things to note Wear comfortable shoes since this is a walking tour. Additionally, since there is always a crowd near the Hachiko statue since it is the most famous meeting spot in all of Japan, keep an eye for the Street Food Japan guide with the sign. We will explore the greater part of Shinjuku, the busiest area in Tokyo to show you popular spots as well as hidden gems. We'll have a couple of bites during the city walk. We'll then head to two izakaya restaurants that are popular among the locals. Places we visit range from modern to traditional, and if you are looking to try just ramen and sushi, this might not be the right one for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll taste different Japanese foods and drinks, learn about our pub food culture and history, and spend time with other foodies. Also, we offer an optional sake tasting session where we will try 5+ different craft & seasonal sake at our own sake bar in Shinjuku before the tour at 3:30pm (optional & price not included). *We may have extra spots available even if you don't see availability. Please send a message to ask! Other things to note We will walk a lot! Wear comfortable shoes and come hungry. Let me know if you have food restrictions beforehand.
