The Stables, an airy modern double bedroom with en suite in a lovely converted railway station with its own entrance. Situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Drax. The house is secluded and sits within 2.5 acres surrounded by trees. You will have the benefit of a shared breakfast room with complimentary cereals, toast & pastries. Just 5 minutes from the historic town of Whitby, Groves Hall is a haven of tranquillity. Built in 1750,and Grade II Listed it is set in seven acres, with mature and well laid gardens, which take advantage of the views over the Esk Valley and River Esk. The rental is for the East Wing of the house with its own front door. Furnished in a unique style, it has been described as 'quirky' and 'home from home' by our guests.We take two guests at a time, so it is a relaxing place to come and stay

Artist’s home, Guest Suite, Tadcaster

We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 4 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This room is on the first floor and is en-suite. We are near several wedding venues & Bramham Park for events and happy to host families with little children on the sofabed and dogs if they’re ok with our cat? We also have a local taxi minibus for booking. Tadcaster is halfway between Leeds & York with many local historic towns for exploring or a great stopover on longer journeys.

This quiet, spacious and comfortable room has a soft and supportive king-sized bed, made up with fresh, soft linens, a big wardrobe and a professional workspace. You will have access to the shared spaces in the rest of the house, including two bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bath), a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room with wood burner, bar area, gym and garden- shared with myself and usually other guest/ guests. Towels, toiletries, tea and coffee, will be provided.
