Swallow's Rest is a self contained, newly renovated stone barn conversion, which sits on the grounds our family home. Nestled in the peaceful village of Keyston, near the Market Town of Haverfordwest. Here you can find an array of shops, supermarkets, pubs and cafes. On a Friday the town hosts it's renowned Farmer's Market. The newly built Riverside, which is an innovative cultural centre, featuring a library, gallery and visitor information. A sports and leisure centre, can also be visited. Swallow's Rest stands on the grounds of our family home. Paul and I have lived here, bringing up our family for over twenty years. Paul, however has lived here all of his life, and has fond memories of playing in Swallow's Rest as a child, when the grounds were very different from what they are today. once housing pigs, cows and chickens. Swallow's Rest is a sympathetically converted two bedroom stone barn conversion. The modern open plan kitchen/ diner is well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a dining table for those family meals. The living space with it's vaulted ceiling offers two comfortable leather sofas, a Smart TV with Netflix and a woodburning stove. The flooring is tiled throughout with underfloor heating. Three steps lead you from the lounge area up to the bedrooms and walk in wet room with shower,WC, basin, heated towel rail and illuminated bathroom mirror with shaver socket. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, TV/DVD and hairdryer. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, - slightly smaller than the standard size and would be more suitable for our younger guests. The second bedroom also has a TV/DVD and hairdryer. Guests can enjoy free Wifi, Netflix and a Bluetooth FM/DAB radio. Access to the property is from a key lock box located at the front of the property, adjacent to the front door. Off road parking is available for two cars. Standing on a partly paved, partly gravelled patio is a beautifully carved garden bench and a table and chairs set. A small charcoal BBQ and a wood burning fire pit for those alfresco evenings. Essentials provided for your stay : Bedlinen and towels Toiletries Toilet Paper Kitchen cleaning products Tea towels Condiments Hairdryer Dvd's Books Board games A welcome food hamper A starter kit of logs, kindling and firelighters. Michelle’s place is very nicely refurbished old barn, with excellent amenities, comfy beds & linen, plenty of towels, even nightlights for the kids and last but not least all the basics you need to make a meal. The location is great to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire (by car). Easy access to beaches and towns nearby. We loved staying there.

Great modern property in a convenient location. Perfect size for our young family, all the facilities and amenities that you'd need, and not too far from Haverfordwest with restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. Visited all of Pembrokeshire and Cardigan with ease. Newgale and the Havens are only a short drive away. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Beautiful and relaxing stay. Very clean and homely and the shower was fab too! Everything we needed was there and the location was so nice once the sun came out ! X Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Swallows Rest, Michelle was quick to reply to my messages and sorted everything. She left a nice welcome hamper for when we arrived and everything. Keeston is a sweet little village.

Half a mile down the road from Swallow's Rest you will find the Pelcome Service Station with a well stocked mini market and a chip shop. The nearby village of Roch is home to the local post office.
The historic city of St Davids, with its magnificent cathedral, lying on the River Alun, is the resting place of Saint David, Wales's patron saint. The pretty village of Solva which lies on the north side of St Bride's Bay, boasts a picture postcard fishing harbour. Solva was also used as a location for the filming of Dylan Thomas's Under Milkwood. Both are a short fifteen to twenty minute drive away.
The stunning Pembrokeshire Coastline offers beautiful sandy blue flag beaches, including Newgale, a surfers paradise. Stunning coastal walks, all of which are just a short drive away.
For the more adventurous, the very popular OakwoodTheme Park. With it's five Rollercoasters, four water rides and many other thrilling rides. Blue LagoonWater Park for the water babies of the group. Heatherton, World of Activities and the ever popular Folly Farm with over 750 animals, vintage fairground and eight adventure play areas, are all under half an hour drive away.
You will be spoilt for choice for places to dine out. The ever so quirky Bohemian style Druidson Hotel, set on a cliffside with stunning views of the Pembrokeshire coastline. The Victoria Inn, serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals, now with it's own Microbrewery, brewing and serving their own Craft Ale. The Cambrian Inn set in the picturesque village of Solva. Serving a wide selection of meat, poultry, fish, game and vegetarian dishes. And if you fancy some relaxing beachside dining, why not try Haven Brasserie, nestled in the quaint village of Nolton Haven.

Swallow's Rest is superbly located to visit the many miles of Pembrokeshire coastline, with its beaches, towns, parks and walks. A car isn't always essential as there are many different transport links :
The T11 bus, stops at the bus stop on the main road to the entrance of the village. This is the Haverfordwest- Fishguard via St David's route. The Coastal buses also run daily throughout the summer months.
The nearest train station is in the town of Haverfordwest, just five miles away. There are also many taxi ranks.
