The place was definitely as advertised. It was clean, spacious, the area was quiet and upscale. The pool was too cold during our visit so we didn’t get to use it as much but it’s an excellent option. The neighborhood is less busy in comparison to ipanema or copacabana which has its pros and cons. Pros are that it felt more like at home (US), it felt really safe, the sidewalks and facilities are clean and suitable for traveling with small children. There were a lot of hidden stores throughout the condominiums, it was fun discovering them all. The cons are that it’s far away from city life, tourist sites, and less food options within walking distance. The beach and the little drink/eat stations alongside the beach were amazing. The host was by far the best host I’ve ever encountered. He was so quick to reply to my questions/concerns. He purchased my infant a playpen to keep him safe and for sleeping. He was more than accommodating, I’d give more stars if I could! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
