This place is a serene escape surrounded by nature’s beauty. From seeing hummingbirds, geese, deer, and nearby game, to walking along the river watching turtles bob up and down… You will find it all here. Walnut, pecan, and oak trees dot the fields by the water, where you can cool off. I took a run on nearby roads and saw beautiful wildflowers. We visited Cafe at the Ridge twice and loved the atmosphere and food! Worth hearing their live music too! Thanks for an amazing stay

Beautiful place would definitely return had peace and quiet. My family loves to fish and got to catch a bunch of fish and release!!! The water felt great to swim in! We also were there to visit the crawfish festival in Fredericksburg and it was just a short drive. Thanks again for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Sweet creek escape

Amazing creekside location. Fun for families to be outdoors and swim together in nature. Pretty remote, so make sure you confirm directions before you head there. Bring paddle boards and inner tubes and fishing poles. Kitchen is compact, but met our needs. Only 2 chefs can fit in the kitchen. :-) The porch is actually quite spacious. Helps the cabin feel much bigger. Nice place to hang out. We will definitely come back again one day! FYI, my T-Mobile phone got spotty reception. But it was honestly kind of nice.

Extremely quiet and peaceful. Cabin was clean. Nice porch for sitting to watch wildlife and enjoy star gazing at night. Water was fun to lounge in. Location was great. About 20 minutes from Fredricksburg. Would definitely book again.
