If you're looking for a relatively cheap to stay in Seattle for night or 2, Julia's place is great. Great communication, clear instructions, adequate room and bathroom. It's definitely not fancy pants, is more of a hostel style setting than in a home and I could see how the upcharges might upset some people but, this is all in the description and other reviewers comments. For what I was looking for, it worked out well.

The room was clean, chill and good to sleep !Julia is reactive ! Good instructions but sad to pay 10$ for a late check in … I recommend this place for few nights ! Thank you

You get what you pay for so set your expectations accordingly. None of the doors (bathroom, bedroom) except the front one works perfectly and need to be wrestled with to close and lock. Limited amenities -- no filtered water, low water pressure, broken dishwasher, fairly noisy room heater, and a basement apartment (no natural light). You will also be sharing 1 bathroom with ~5 people, so cleanliness is a hit or miss. Finally, your bedroom door does not lock by default. A key is a $5 extra and needs 1 business day to process, so maybe request the key before you check in. Probably this was buried somewhere in the "house rules" which I did not read very carefully before check in. It was not too bad for me as I only used the place to crash at night after attending a conference downtown during my stay, but the experience would have been not great if I was staying at the place for the whole day. Also, not sure if I agree with the "10 min bus to downtown" claim.

PLEASE REVIEW LISTING FULLY.. you will be charged extra for anything and everything here. Better make it on time for check in. I stayed in the Hideout Room, for the price it is convenient. You get a bed and a roof over your head for your stay. It was decently easy to locate although the street has a closed sign so it took a couple of laps around to find the house. Within walking distance of downtown. There is only 1 bathroom for 5 or more bedrooms which sleep 2 people, I waited up for 1.5 hours for the washroom, had to go to a bar down the street as I could no longer wait. Messaged host asking if there was another bathroom available as the listing stated there was an emergency one and got the response of where the ONLY washroom was available which was the one being used. The window allows a lot of air in which makes the room very chilly- tried to “close it” but wasn’t sure how. The hallway light is left on all night which can make it difficult to sleep if you’re a light sleeper.
