Reikingar eru bannaðar í húsinu. Bústaðnum fylgir árabátur sem má nota á eigin ábyrgð. Ef men hafa Veiðikortið er hægt að veiða í vatninu. 27 km til Húsavíkur og 60 km til Akureyrar.
