Join us for a unique experience at Montserrat, one of Spain’s most iconic and sacred sites. A place of pilgrimage for millions, this national park is known for its stunning rock formations and its Basilica and Monastery, home to the revered Black Madonna.
We’ll meet at the center of Barcelona, and from there, embark on a private, air-conditioned vehicle—no crowded public transport—making our way up the mountain. Montserrat’s name, meaning "saw mountain," comes from its distinctive peaks, and we’ll enjoy breathtaking views as we drive.
Unlike most tours, we offer early access to the monastery before the crowds arrive. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you on a 45-min tour, revealing Montserrat’s history and secrets. You’ll visit the local farmer's market, enter the Basilica, and even touch the Black Madonna (available on the 8:30 am and 1:30 pm tours). For the 9:30 am tour, enjoy the special performance of the Boy's Choir.
After the tour, you’ll have 2 hours of free time to explore. Take a walk to the Saint Miguel cross for a stunning panoramic view, ride the Sant Joan Funicular, or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere of this spiritual mountain.
The experience concludes with a relaxing drive back to the meeting point in Barcelona.
