German and Turkish wine pairings at historic Viktualienmarkt

Spend a relaxed afternoon tasting wine and snacking on Turkish small plates in our shop, Gürmet Wein und Meze am Markt, located in Munich’s iconic Viktualienmarkt. • Once you settle in, I’ll hand out glasses of German sparkling wine and talk about the 200-year-old history of the Viktualienmarkt, which has evolved into a major culinary destination. • Over the course of the next two hours, we’ll taste five white and red wines from Germany and Turkey, including some you may never have encountered outside their country of origin. • We’ll pair the wines with a selection of four Turkish meze dishes (small plates), all traditionally vegetarian, as we talk about German and Turkish wine history. Sampling unlimited local brews, I'll show you what makes this city a world-renowned beer capital. We do a Beer Museum Tour. Learn about the origins of Oktoberfest, roasted malt differences, Munich’s pioneering beer innovations, and its global influence. We may encounter other private groups, but it's closed to the general public when we go. Dinner is served towards the end of the tour, at a local's favourite over the road from the world famous Hofbrauhaus... a good place for a last beer. 学会烘焙维也纳苹果卷

Wir backen gemeinsam 2 gezogene Apfelstrudel: Dazu bereiten wir zuerst zwei Teigportionen zu. Während diese rasten, schälen wir gemeinsam Äpfel und bereiten alle anderen Zutaten vor. Nachdem ich dir anhand der 1. Teigportion gezeigt habe, wie man den Teig auszieht, füllt, rollt und auf das Backblech hievt, kannst du es selbst ausprobieren und die 2. Teigportion zu einem Apfelstrudel verarbeiten. Den frisch gebackenen Apfelstrudel verkosten wir anschließend bei einer gemütlichen Tasse Kaffee oder Tee. Selbstverständlich kannst du das Rezept für den Apfelstrudel anschließend mit nach Hause nehmen. Je nach Saison verarbeiten wird die Äpfel, die in unserem eigenen Garten wachsen. Ansonsten zu beachten Man sollte ca. 2,5 Stunden dafür einplanen, da der Strudel frisch gebacken und danach verkostet wird.

Die Oberaudorfer Almen mit Schneeschuh

Wir machen eine leichte Schneeschuh Tour zu den Oberaudorfer Almen. Nur eine Stunde von München liegen unsere bayrischen Berge, der Wendelstein, Brünstein und Schwarzberg mit Blick auf den imposanten wilden Kaiser. Die Anreise ist mit dem eigenem Auto oder mit der Bahn bis Oberaudorf. Wir starten unsere Tour mit einem sanften Wanderung durch das Giesenbach Tal und gehen einen kleinen sonnigen Weg hinauf zu den Oberaudorfer Almen. Dort werden wir mit einen traumhaften Blick über das Inntal belohnt. Auf dem Rückweg bestaunen wir die tiefe Giesenbachklamm und stärken uns mit einer leckeren Brotzeit in der urigen Schopper Alm.

If you want to learn something special while having a unique travel experience, come and try river surfing! There are different waves for all skill levels! Meeting at the wave, we'll get into the wetsuit, learn some basic rules within minutes. Right after that, you'll get the chance to spend 45min on the water. Changing afterwards again takes a couple of minutes and if you're keen we finish of by having some tea or beer in my favorite little cafe close-by. Other things to note - you need to know how to swim - not kidding: I had people interested who were not able to swim and still wanted to surf...

Meet me for a world history walk in Munich and dive into a past of war and peace. We will stand, where the celebrations of the breakout of World War I - the "great seminal catastrophe" of the 20th century - took place and where Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch ended in gunfire. We will learn, why the Nazis called Munich "the capital of the movement" and why the era between 1914-1945 is rightly considered the 2nd Thirty Years War. We will talk about Napoleon and his huge impact on German identity and unification and learn, how these disastrous wars of the past defined our new today and times of peace. This will be a high level lecture from a real expert and I promise you that these two hours will still leave you confused at the end - but on a much higher level. Because I always want to encourage dialogue and the exchange of views, knowledge and philosophical thoughts about history and mankind, our groups are always small and non-touristy. PLEASE NOTE: The length of the tour sometimes depends on the size of the group and the amount of questions - so maybe count in +/- 15-20 minutes. Winterträume mit Schneeschuhen unterwegs

Wir wandern vom Bichlersee zur Hohen Asten eine mittelschschwere Tour. Auf Wunsch sind einfache 2-3 Std Touren ebenfalls möglich. Einfach fragen, ich kenne viele schöne Varianten. Der erste Treffpunkt ist am Schmuck Atelier in Oberaudorf Gemeinsam fahren mit unseren Privat Autos, ca 10 min zum Bichlersee hoch. Die Straße ist gut geräumt im Winter. Mit einem grandiosen Blick auf den Wilden Kaiser im Inntal, schnallen wir unsere Schneeschuh an und wandern ca. 2 Std auf hügeligen Wegen, 350 hm leicht ansteigend durch den verschneiten Wald zum Berggasthof Hohe Asten auf 1100m. Wir gehen auf unberührten, sonnigen Wegen, lawinensicher und abseits von Straßen. Nach einer guten Brotzeit und einen weiten Blick auf Heuberg, Kranzhorn und Spitzstein,die bayrischen Berge im Inntal, wandern wir unsere Spuren wieder zurück. Zeit für Fotos und schöne Bergblicke sind immer dabei, Gaudi und tolle Geschichten erzählen wir auf Hütte und unterwegs. Mit Schneeschuh durch verschneite Wälder wandern, das ist für mich das pure Glück im Winter und macht bei jedem Wetter Spaß. Gute Kondition ist von Vorteil bei dieser Tour. Weiter Touren und andere Termine können angefagt werden.
