The 'Book Nook' Beachside Cabin in Birch Bay

A block from the beach, this cute 330sf cabin has everything! The ' Book Nook' is perfect for summers by the beach or snuggling up with a book on rainy days. Built in bookshelves contain an array of books to unwind with, teach you, or feed your curiosity. The kitchen is well equipped and we have the 'Covid Cleaning' down now. Nestled up against a hillside, it is quiet at night. This little community of cabins is being enhanced. Walking distance to the 'heart' of Birch Bay. Near the State Park.

Treehouse with Bay Views & Beach Access

Treehouse-style apartment perched above Lummi Bay with western exposure and sweeping views of the San Juan Islands and Canadian Coast Range. Enjoy heated floors, a gas fireplace, and a spa-like steam shower. Watch eagles and passing ships, relax by the beach firepit, and cook in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Ideally located between Vancouver, Mt. Baker, Seattle, and Hwy 20 to Eastern Washington — a perfect Pacific Northwest escape. *Note- this unit shares the property with a rental home.

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

The Logs at Glacier Springs is the perfect getaway after a day on the mountain or exploring the surrounding Mt. Baker wilderness. Relax in the cedar hot tub, gather with friends by the fire pit, play board games next to a roaring wood stove fire, snuggle up with your furry friend on the couch or read a book in our cozy nook. The Logs lets you experience Mt Baker your own way!

Lakefront Cabin on Lake Whatcom - Private

Come "hideaway" on Lake Whatcom and make some lasting memories with friends and family. This beautifully designed Lakefront property has everything you have been looking for in a Lake getaway. Enjoy stunning Lake views, dock access and activities all year round! We call it the Hideaway because, once you get here you won't want to go home. Relax and soak in all the nature the area has to offer. We are only 15 minutes from downtown Bellingham, 80 minutes from Seattle.

Middle Fork Cabin

This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

Unplug and Unwind

Enjoy this creekside A-Frame cabin situated on it's own private acre in the woods. Light a fire in the outdoor firepit or curl up next to the pellet stove inside. Have a soak in the wood fired cedar hot tub under the stars. The cabin is the perfect place to chill out after a day on the hill or just a great hideout to escape into nature for a few days. Have a great night sleep on your brand new memory foam mattress surrounded by the forest and a rushing creek.

Chuckanut Forest Studio (near trails + hot tub)

Gorgeous modern studio in a forested setting, this is a unique space with thoughtful design. The Studio is a ten minute drive from Bellingham, with seashore and mountain trails nearby. Our special place offers a base for adventure, rejuvenation and re-connection, providing "Il Dolce Far Niente" - The Sweetness of Doing Nothing. * Note there will be construction on the upper part of our property til late April, with minimal impact on Studio guests.

The Chuckanut “Treehouse”

Come sit in the Trees on Chuckanut Drive in this cozy, quiet, 1 bedroom, full bathroom on a secluded drive. Enjoy the private entrance and spacious deck in the towering forest of the Great Pacific Northwest. The house is anchored into rocks that hang over a lush ravine. The decks are 20-30 feet off the ground, the construction is like living in a treehouse. Enjoy the owls at night and the birds singing in the day!

Birch Bay's Little House est. 2019

Located in Birch Bay, WA, near Semiahmoo. Beach access is 1.6 miles away. You will be greeted with simple design, relaxing decor and lots of natural light. This little house has personality. Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club is 2.9 miles from the house. We are 6 miles from I-5, a 15 minute drive from the Canadian border and Blaine, and 23 miles from Bellingham International Airport.
