The station is just across the street. Visible from the house the beautiful Dublin Mountains are a mere 15 min drive away. Great for events in the RDS, Landsdowne Road, Bord Gais Theatre and 3 Arena. The bus stop both to & from the city centre is only a few meters from the door, as well as the Dart (train) which is 5 minutes walk. Journey into the city centre takes approximately 10 to 15 mins, grocery stores 10 mins walking distance & bars & restaurants. Free parking for 1 car.

Sandymount is a charming small village with restaurants, cafes, bars, pharmacies, and a supermarket. The nearby Sandymount Strand is just a 6-minute walk away.

Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

The capital city Dublin is within an easy bus ride. Locally, a drive or walk at Blessington lakes is a must or a visit to Rusborough House.
