Semi detached villa. Within walking distance from town. 15mins walk or 3mins drive to Scotts Bar and Restaurants. Lovely older house. Kept in the older style of furnishings but comfortable and warm. There is a play ground which is at the school a couple of hundred yards away. Also a German Café and Vegan Cafe across the road. A free standing fire and heat pump for warmth. The whole house is yours 3 Bedrooms, open lounge, dinning room and Kitchen. Coffee and tea are provided.

Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Please let me know if your travelling with your furry friend and/or you require the 2nd bedroom.

The Moorings

The Moorings is a special place for those wanting to spend time in Oamaru. You will never tire of the outlook over the sea and harbour. The home itself is immaculate and stylishly renovated. The beds and linen are of especially good quality. The home is close to the Penguin Colony, the old part of town and Scott's Brewery if you need a beer or a pizza. We are sorry but the house is not child friendly so we are not able to take bookings with children. Minimum two night booking.

We offer a cosy cabin in Kakanui, on the scenic route from Dunedin to Oamaru. 10mins drive to penguin colony and historic Oamaru. Kakanui has a shop for groceries, alcohol, take-aways and . A restaurant in walking distance, open Wed-Sun. Have a lovely quiet walk to river and along the beach and then back to the tiny house for coffee or tea. Self-serve breakfast is provide for first night. We are a couple who love guests. We speak English, Swiss-German.

Guests can wander the gardens, walk down to the lake and sit on the boardwalk to take in the scenery, wildlife and glorious sunsets.

We have free parking right outside the front door and free high speed unlimited wifi.
