Áskot Cottages offer self-catering vacation homes located on a Family run Horse Ranch in South Iceland. This property offers landscape views to Vestamannaeyjar, Eyjafjallajokull and view over a field with the farm´s horses. Each house is provided with a well-equipped kitchenette, dishwasher and a washer/dryer machine. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm also offers riding tours, and its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Ideal conditions to enjoy the Northern Lights in our cozy little house. We are located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and the main viewing points of South Iceland are a short drive away. Places such as Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Vestmannaeyjar, Vík and Reynisfjara are within 1 hour's drive. Everything is there to have an adventurous experience in Iceland.

Gamla pósthúsið er mjög falleg íbúð sem við innréttuðum 2023 með fallegu útsýni yfir Ytri Rangá. Hella is very well located in the south. It is a short drive to many beautiful places. It’s really fun to stay in Hella for a few days and take a day trip to all the main places in the south. It is no problem to see the northern lights on Hella and if you drive 5-10 minutes you get out of all the street lights and manage to enjoy them even more.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

The cottages are comfortably designed to make you feel home away from home and to enjoy the amazing nature that the south coast of Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Inside the cabin there are 2 single beds, convertible sofa bed, bathroom with a toilet and a shower and kitchen. Good for a couple, 2 couples or 2 adults with 2 children. Infant beds and baby chairs are available if requested.
