We are 1 mile from our local village which has a food shop, takeaway, hairdressers, pharmacy, playground, school, Catholic Church, post office, and two local pubs. We are 15 minutes to Galway city and 20 minutes from Cong, mayo, we are 15 minutes to limerick/Sligo motorway which connects with the Dublin motorway. Our location is convenient for all that Galway has to offer i.e. it is a gate way to connemara, the many festivals hosted here include the Galway arts festival, Galway races and the oyster festival.

This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

Skeaghvil chalets are located in a woodland setting beside Skeagh lake, near Bailieborough Co Cavan. There is a large gazebo with a brand new hot tub that can be used during your stay and it’s not shared with anyone else for an extra charge. Kayaks and fishing boats are available to hire locally. Skeagh is an area of natural beauty it’s a walkers paradise. There are various running and bike trails to choose from within a short distance of the chalets. Please note the The fire is not in use.

Watch the otters, sea birds and wild deer from your deck overlooking the beach. Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi or inside beside our wood burning stove. A spacious house, secluded and private, it was originally built by my grandparents as a holiday home in the 1950s, now successfully renovated for the 21st century!

The beach front features a long promenade and an amusement park in the summer.
