The cottage is on pilings with a front porch facing the sea. It has a full kitchen, queen size bed, living room with futon, bathroom, shower, screens on doors/windows, drinking water, fridge, 24-hour power, maid service. Max. 3 adults. There are horses, chickens, cats & dogs. If you are not an animal lover, this may not be for you. This is perfect for people who like calm & privacy, wild and unspoiled natural beauty. This is comfortable but not luxurious. We do not accept children under 12.

There is a large pool and patio with lounge chairs, hammocks, outside bathroom and shower- shared only with guests staying in our suites. No day pass! What used to be Desperado’s Restaurant next door is now an extension of El Escondite guest space- enjoy private beach access and a second floor terrace with tables and hammocks overlooking the ocean.

Please Note: While I love my space and have worked on it very hard. There are a couple of local bars near my property on the beach, and they can sometimes play very loud music late into the night.

We have a 55'' smart tv, and our WiFi is reliable. - 4 seater golf cart rental is available @ $50/day.
