Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. We also offer a wood fired pizza making experience (see below for details). All of this while experiencing rural Oregon. We are on 6 acres with only a few neighbors.

Our cozy-comfy 4 season yurt is nestled under majestic trees on a beautifully landscaped 1/3 acre. Located in a quiet, safe SW Portland neighborhood with a park, hike/bike trail a block away. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

Where you are surrounded by trees , feel the breezes, sunrise and sunset in the same day, and sometimes the wonderful wildlife around us. Birds in the sky , rabbits and sometimes deer, and yes our two friendly goats. Oh yes and the expansive midnight sky with the bright stars twinkling above or the big round moon shining down on you as you sit on the patio in the evening enjoying the night air.
