Welcome to the Indie Farmer Shepherd's Hut. Located on a family farm in its own private 8-acre field surrounded by woodland in rural Sussex. The hut is the perfect retreat from the modern world and ideal for those looking to slow down. Highlights include the wood burner for keeping warm during the winter and the outdoor fire pit and tripod grill for cooking. There are lots of lovely walks on the farm and locally, along with a great pub. It is also 15 mins by car to the beach at Cooden, Bexhill.

Gatwick is a short distance away if you want to stay just before or after a holiday, eliminating the worry of traffic and rushing to/from the airport.

Guests enjoy their own private gated haven with the most incredible view of the wild field that adjoins our property. The outdoor area offers cooking amenities and an al fresco dining space. In 2023 we are have stayed on a couple of amazing campsites on farms in West Sussex, with views of the countryside , no road noise and beautiful views one even has a pond to wild swim in.
