Our cozy studio apartment sets on the Patuxent River. With the perfect views of Myrtle Beach, Point Patient and Thomas Johnson Bridge. Relax watching the boats and birds or take a walk along the water for a lovely neighborhood to stroll for 2.5 miles. Your favorite moments may be when you wake to see the sun rise and again to see the orange sky set. Just over the bridge from the popular Solomon's Island which is full of fabulous restaurants, boat rentals, charter fishing and summer concerts.

Inquire first on pets, there is a 50 lb. weight limit total, can be split up between 2 small dogs or 1 at 50lbs or less,must be house broken and friendly. Close to Saint Mary's historic city, Pt. Lookout State Park, Sotterley Plantation. Great hiking trails, restored colonial village,a replica of the Maryland Dove. Tour a lighthouse. Great restaurants , or spend a day over in Solomons Island, about 20 miles from us. Peaceful settings for relaxing right on the water,or kayak on the river.

We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”). And be sure to visit our sister property, White Point Cottage!

1,000 square foot two-bedroom, one bath waterfront apartment features separate entrance and a screened-in porch overlooking the St. Mary’s River. Property has a large dock and a small private beach. Jellyfish, crabs, and oysters make swimming challenging, although many swim off the dock in the deeper water. No Diving! Dogs are welcome. We just ask that they be on a leash. The apartment is attached to part of the house where we reside, although it is sealed off and nothing is shared.

Apartment situated near shops, restaurants, St. Mary's College and the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. 15 minutes from Chesapeake Bay, 1 hour to DC beltway. French and German also spoken.

A massive island for cooking, card playing or just great conversations with endless views. Crabbing, fishing. The Neighbors have 2 Great Danes and a cat that you may see occasionally

This tiny houseboat sits permanently on a boat lift, so you will have the unique experience of being over water without the risk of sea sickness! Located in the heart of quaint Solomons Island, this is a great stay if you love being near the water. Unparalleled views from your private porch. Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet.

The "Cottage" is a cozy vacation rental that has an open floor plan that allows for easy hanging out or keeping an eye on the kids. The "Cottage" is not on the water, but is close to Solomons Island where you can enjoy their boardwalk & the view! The "Cottage" is close to history, lighthouses, crab and fishing charters and shark tooth hunting! Also nearby is the Calvert Marine Museum featuring live concerts by top name bands.

The private 16-acre property is bordered by a conservation area and a 300-foot private beach. Year-round amenities include a pier and an in-ground pool with amazing river views. The estate also hosts weddings and events for up to 100 guests (event fee is additional).
