Craobh Mòr (Kroove More) Wee Bothy in Balquhidder

Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

The newly built studio offers beautiful self contained accomodation. It is situated at the top of our large, garden and is seperate to our house. The bifold doors offer easy access to the patio and the picturesque scenery. There is free off street parking and our Hot tub is available by arrangement at an additional maintenance charge.

Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

Excellent transport links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the North. 5minute walk to the historic and cultural city centre and 7 minutes walk to Stirling train station. The area has stunning views of the castle. Access to ‘The Stables’ is through the garden of the main property ( via a path).
