Shop your way through Charleston’s Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood with me, the founder of The Tiny Tassel jewelry, clothing, and accessories brand. I’ll introduce you to other shop owners in this neighborhood known for its quaint streets, historic architecture, and residential charm.
• After meeting outside The Tiny Tassel, we’ll start with an icebreaker before our first stop on Spring Street: Taxidermy. The shop sells leather handbags, shoes, and jackets in bold colors, some of which have been spotted on celebrities such as Beyoncé, Kylie Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian.
• Pop into a stationery shop inspired by the owner’s return to the South, and at Bad Bunnies Coffee, you’ll get to taste why it’s my favorite spot for a treat and a drink.
• Browse the curated selection at Philosophers & Fools, a bookstore bar founded by a husband-and-wife team, before returning to The Tiny Tassel, where you’ll get to shop for handmade jewelry pieces and exclusive clothing pieces. Then, we’ll take a group photo.
In the end, you’ll have had the opportunity to browse locally owned shops and connect with the close-knit creative community in this Charleston neighborhood.
