Join me, an art historian, for a behind-the-scenes exploration of the Museum dedicated to the life and work of the visionary abstract expressionist Clyfford Still. Created in New York, San Francisco, and beyond between the 1930s and 1960s, Still’s intense, emotionally charged paintings helped establish abstract expressionism as a major art movement. • Start with a behind-the-scenes tour of the collection storage, where we’ll discuss the care of these masterpieces and view works not on public display. • Explore Still’s transition to abstraction, examining how his early works evolved into his iconic abstract style. As its name suggests, Denver’s Rioja restaurant is inspired by the flavors and the wines of the Mediterranean. Join Rioja’s sommelier for a guided tasting of four wines from our selection, paired with small bites. • Gather in our dining room at the restaurant, where I’ll begin by sharing a little about my wine journey and the history of Rioja. • Taste four wines from producers around the globe. I’ll help you identify the distinct aromas and flavors in each wine. • I will pair each of the wines with a Rioja specialty such as cured salmon pizza or our signature artichoke tortelloni. Tour the Santa Fe Arts District with sister muralists

Come with us on a creative journey as we guide you through the Santa Fe Art District in Denver and share our own work, which ranges from puppet building to body painting and more. • We’ll meet at Side Show Studios—located within Artists on Santa Fe Gallery, the first gallery and studio space in the Santa Fe Arts District—where Sarah will share her current work and creative process. We’ll move across the hall to Jessica’s studio space, Real Eyes, where she’ll talk about some of her wild past and present work, including tricks she uses to make seriously scary costumes. • Next, we’ll lead you on a Santa Fe Street tour past iconic murals, graffiti pieces, and large-scale public artworks, offering insights into the techniques, materials, and stories behind each piece. • We’ll return to the gallery building and visit the Stargazer Studio, a workspace adorned with sideshow and jellyfish motifs, which offers plenty of fun photo opportunities. Roam the spaces and take your photo on the "Wheel of Misfortune,” purchase some handmade pieces from the Real Eye Studios store, and check out many of the other 27 artist studios. The tour will end with personalized recommendations for galleries, dining, and nightlife, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the creative heartbeat of the community.

Sunrise hike on Hogback Ridge Trail with a wilderness guide

Kickstart your day with a sunrise hike that climbs 800 feet to a ridgeline with breathtaking views of Boulder Valley, the Flatirons, and the plains beyond. • The moderate (strenuous for some) hike on Hogback Ridge Trail will lead you to the top of the first hill where plains meet mountains, just as the sun appears to the east. You'll then loop back across an easy, grassy slope. • You’ll learn why this trail was the first one selected for my book, Moon Colorado Hiking, a travel guide that highlights 75 day hikes in Colorado. • Descending the peak, keep your eyes peeled for deer, hawks, and the occasional coyote. You’ll leave with beta on NoBo coffee shops and an insider’s tip on where to find Boulder’s best post-hike breakfast burrito. Note: Be prepared for a solid loop hike which begins with a rather steep ascent (over 800 feet elevation gain); sturdy footwear are recommended. Please remember to leave your pups at home—dogs aren't allowed on this trail. There is no bathroom at the trailhead, so plan ahead.

We take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! If there is a time or date not listed please message me as we offer flexible availability. Your adventure begins at a cafe conveniently located in central Denver. After a short introduction we will head to the hills and carpool to the hiking trail. On your hike you will learn about nature, get to know new friends, take water and snack breaks, and take heaps of pictures of the breathtaking views. The hike is about 3 miles depending on the ability of the hikers and length of the trail. After the hike we will return to the cafe. All of our hiking experiences are personalized based on the size of the group and ability of the hikers. We offer both group and private hikes, corporate events, large parties welcome! We cannot wait to show you the beauty in Denver’s back yard! We will go on a leisurely walk to explore the scenic views while photographically documenting the experience. We are seasoned photographers with over 800 5-star reviews across all platforms! Experience the excitement of making your own piece of jewelry! This is a three hour hands-on workshop, in which you will learn the silversmithing fabrication techniques to make a sterling silver band ring. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop. Just come, have fun and learn! During the workshop you will be lead step-by-step through the processes. It is a very safe environment, however each participate will be asked to sign a liability waiver and safety will be discussed. The process begins by measuring and cutting a piece a sterling silver the desired width of your ring. Next the metal is annealed with a torch. Annealing is the process of heating metal with a flame to make it malleable. After each time the metal is heated, it is cleaned in a solution to remove the oxidation that is created on the surface. Once the metal is prepared, you will have choices of hammers and metal stamps to texture a pattern onto the sterling silver, creating your personal design. Then the metal is cut to the length required for your ring size, formed into shape and soldered together. The final steps are refining, buffing and polishing your creation to have a beautiful shine! Rest assured that your safety is our priority. Regarding COVID-19, we have a cleaning protocol in place. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are available for your use.

We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

Because we travel by e-bike, we are able to cover a lot of ground with little effort! We include historic neighborhoods, landmarks, parks, art and theater districts, world famous graffiti alleyways, haunted houses, suffragette monuments, microbreweries and craft coffee shops, all while feeding you fun facts and historical tidbits about Denver's dark beginnings, heroines, body snatchers, underground passages and significant street names and the criminals they were named after. We spent a significant amount of time investigating post COVID Denver. We talked to so many local businesses they know us by name. We drank too many coffees, beers and kombuchas, stayed out far too late on weeknights, and ate out way more than our doctors recommended. We explored in exhaustion both the day and nightlife scenes. You can rest assured, when we provide a recommendation, it is the real deal!
