The 680 sqm property is laid on three different levels, all facing tropical nature. On the upper level you will find the 132 sqm antique joglo with its manicured entrance garden and a large decking surrounding the house. The fully furnished Villa comprises an entrance hall with beautiful handmade tiles, two bedrooms with antique tek flooring both fitted with extra king size luxury bed, cabinets, air conditioning, safety boxes and ensuite bathrooms. The living area is an open plan design, separated in four different spaces with ceiling fans, the fully equipped American kitchen, the dining space comfortably accommodating up to 6 persons, the leaving room with flat screen TV and home cinema system and finally the chill out area that can be used to relax with a book, practice yoga, meditation. One level lower, the infinity 8X4 meters overflowing pool and its decking will allow you to swim and tan among the palm trees. On the lowest level overlooking the river, the gazebo and its undergrowth garden is the perfect area to chill, read a book, get a massage or a drink while listening to the sound of the river streaming down. Villa Nila has been designed in an eco friendly manner. It is fitted with water and energy saving bathroom appliances, the waste water treatment is managed with Biotank to ensure that no waste is leached into the soil or surrounding waterways. Our pool is fitted with UV treatment system limiting the usage of chemicals to the required minimum. 60 % of the electrical supply is provided by solar panels and we harvest rain to limit our water consumption. Villa Nila is fully staffed and will be cleaned daily. Breakfast will be prepared for you every morning or if you prefer complete privacy, just let us know and we will stock your fridge with a selection of fruits, eggs, bread and home made jams. For your security, a guard is present at night (9.00 pm until 6.00 am). Villa Nila is completely dedicated to you and we strive to provide you with an authentic and memorable experience. Myself or the staff are available to help you organize your trip, book activities, provide you with relevant information on what to do and where to go. You will also find in the « Nila's book », a list of services, authentic tour that we can provide or if you wish we can tailor made some activities depending on your wish and expectations. In the book, you will also find a list of services such as: Personal Chef (In-House dining) In-House Massage and beauty treatments Private yoga class Canyoning Rafting Fast boat booking Etc. Villa Nila is located among rice paddies in a very peaceful and quiet setting. The property is close to several temples and sits within easy walking distance of all that Ubud has to offer including shops, restaurants, and more. Free private parking space for 2 cars is available. We are happy to organize your airport pickup or from anywhere in Bali, just let us know and we will be delighted to assist you. The best way to move around Ubud is by using a scooter or bicycle, we can organize this for you again just let us know. If you feel more comfortable to charter a private car with driver this can also be planned. To ensure a smooth arrival, the easiest is to use our pickup service - either from Denpasar Airport or other locations (prices depending on location). If you are making your own way to the Villa we will provide you with detailed directions.

If you do choose to spend more time at home we can bring Ubud to you by providing in house massages, in home meals and a number of other services. Simply talk to our staff and they will do their best to cater to your every need.. Guests will have access to the entire villa with the exception of the staff room at the rear of the property. Myself and the Indah Shambala team are present as little or as much as you need them. The staff come in daily to make your breakfasts and service your rooms and will stay as long as you have need of them... If you require even more privacy just let them know and they discreetly slip away. Your wish is their command.. The house is located in an exclusive Ubud precinct on Ubud's Royal Road. A supermarket and many restaurants, spas, shops, and cafes are in the immediate vicinity. Ubud Palace is in walking distance. The villa affords a leisurely stroll into town, but also offers you the service of our own wonderful driver, Nyoman, who will give you the best pricing on day trips and tours. There are also drivers permanently located at Bintang Supermarket, which is just outside the front gate, who can help you with all your last minute travel arrangements If you are an early bird or even if you are not, it is really worth making the effort to get out of bed and experience at least one sunrise from the villa.
