Play petanque with an expert at Jardin du Luxembourg

Join me in the scenic Jardin du Luxembourg to learn the traditional French game of pétanque. Tossing metal balls toward the cochonnet, a tiny wooden target ball, might sound simple, but it’s an art form that Parisians have perfected. The beauty of pétanque is that it’s as much about the lively banter and shared laughter as it is about winning. • We’ll meet up on the pétanque courts, I’ll share a few stories about the history of this beautiful park and explain the rules of pétanque. • Next, you’ll team up in groups of two or three for mini matches, competing against each other in a fun, friendly atmosphere. • To wrap up, we’ll come together to celebrate the winners, hand out diplomas, and say our goodbyes. Experiencing this slice of everyday Parisian life, you’ll discover, is a delightful way to connect with the city.

It’s a unique event that combines exploration, social interaction, and relaxation, offering participants the chance to visit local landmarks, enjoy drinks at three carefully chosen bars, and indulge in a variety of finger foods, all while building connections and enjoying a laid-back atmosphere. After everyone is settled, the group will begin their leisurely walk through the city. The walking route will take participants through a mix of landmarks as well as hidden gems, providing a full spectrum of the city’s character and charm. The host will act as a guide, providing interesting facts, and historical insights about the sites being visited.The stroll provides more than just a physical break between bar stops—it offers a chance for people to connect over shared experiences, discuss the local culture, and explore parts of the city they might not have discovered otherwise. We will visit 3 bars with different concepts behind them.Participants can choose from a variety of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic.For food lovers some light food will be available too,not included. It’s a night of socializing, learning, and connecting, and it’s an experience that promises to create lasting memories.

光之城光绘摄影体验

Avez-vous déjà peint avec la lumière ? Venez découvrir cette discipline surprenante et accessible à tous ! Après quelques minutes de démonstration vous passerez à la pratique. À votre arrivée près de l'Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel en face de la pyramide du Louvre je vous présenterai le matériel que nous utiliserons, les outils du Light Painter peuvent être surprenants. Nous verrons également ensemble les réglages idéales de l'appareil photo pour réaliser un Light Painting. Ensuite je vous montrerai les techniques pour réussir une calligraphie, un portrait et de nombreux effets lumineux tous plus créatifs les uns que les autres. Si vous êtes équipés d'un trépied et d'un appareil photo vous pouvez amener votre matériel et nous regarderons les réglages de l'appareil ensemble. Durant l'expérience c'est vous qui serez à la création devant l'objectif et avant de repartir vous serez aptes à réaliser vos propres Light Painting seuls. Le lendemain de l'expérience je vous transmettrai les clichés réalisées par courrier électronique.

We will meet at the bar of the cinema to have a drink, while mingling with our community of expats who come from all over the world in a friendly atmosphere! Then, you'll be able to enjoy a screening at the only place in Paris playing French films with English subtitles. Some events are followed by a Q&A with the film crews, stand-up comedy shows, concerts, wine tastings, or even movie-themed walking tours!
