Join me, a longtime mural preservationist, as I reveal the stories behind the eye-popping street art in two of Tokyo’s trendiest neighborhoods: Shibuya and Harajuku. • In between spotting graffiti tags and admiring massive murals, we’ll duck into secret alleyways, abandoned buildings, and underground spots that are only known by locals. • For daytime sessions, we’ll also stop by galleries and view current art exhibitions (when available). If you select the night tour, you’ll get a glimpse of graffiti artworks painted on shuttered storefronts, which are normally hidden from view. • We’ll wrap up at a cafe with a brief digital demonstration of before-and-after examples of murals, including one that has been turned into an NFT. • You’ll have plenty of time to photograph your favorite scenes along the way. If you prefer being in front of the lens, I’ll share tips for the best angles and poses for selfies. I’ll guide you through the process of putting one on, and then we’ll visit a nearby Temple for a peaceful walk and photos. **FOR WOMEN ONLY • You’ll learn the proper method of putting on and wearing a kimono, including how to tie a hanhaba obi (half-width sash). • We’ll stroll around the nearby Shounji Temple and take photos. (In case of rain, you’ll instead learn kimono etiquette indoors.) The facility features symbolic items related to Japanese national alcoholic beverages, including large wooden barrel displays and various tools, along with exhibitions of sake vessels from various regions. Visitors can also sample approximately 100 varieties of Japanese sake, Honkaku Shochu, and Mirin which items change almost every month. You can experience how to make Handmade Udon in the authentic Udon restaurant and enjoy the Udon you made after the class. If you wish, you can enjoy making udon while sipping on Japanese sake, beer or etc... (Please note that the cost of drinks is not included in the fee.) You can also bring Udon back to your home if you want. Handmade udon made by ourselves is chewier and softer than udon sold in stores. Anybody who doesn’t have any skill for cooking can easily experience. Both kids and adults can enjoy the udon. We would like people from other countries to know one of the traditional Japanese food and share the joy of making it together. Our restaurant is in the Michelin guide. Explore Unique Tokyo Streets / Learn with a Pro Photographer

In 2015 I lived out a longtime dream to come to Japan. That's also when I decided to buy a 'real' camera for the first time before my trip hoping to get some great travel photos as a keepsake. Fast forward several years and many stories and well, I live here now and I haven't stopped taking photos since. I'm now a professional photographer making a living off of what I love to do and I want to show you this magical city of Tokyo and how to photograph it. I also run one of the largest Meetup groups for creatives in the city so connecting with people is huge passion of mine. This is NOT just a tour. Of course, you're going to see some places you will never find on your own but I've been photographing some of these places for years from unique view points and I want to pass on that knowledge to you.
