In between New Iberia and Jeanerette, our old barn has just been outfitted with the works, from period furniture to modern air conditioning. Quiet, and bucolic in its location on the banks of the BayouTeche. The Barn is surrounded by sugar cane, providing elegant private scenery and relaxation time. We also offer food. First Floor of Barn - Our "Precious Past" Suite is the lower level of the barn and is decorated with antiques that will refresh your memory of bygone days. This suite has a queen bed, dressing table, armoire, a sitting area with love-seat, TV, a charming antique dinette, kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. It has a bath room with a shower. It is located in the country on a pond, where you can fish and relax under the old oak trees. Breakfast not included in price.

This is a converted 160 sq ft red barn shed with a covered front porch overlooking the beautiful grounds of St. Charles College. There is a Murphy Queen-sized bed, shower, antique sink, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Walls, bed frame and trim are crafted from palette wood, creating a crafted rustic look. We are within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. It’s tucked in a historic, beautiful peaceful place where you can rest your mind and refresh your soul.

A private road will lead you to your secluded destinations “Big Red”- tucked amidst the hundred plus year old oak and cypress trees. Gaze at the egrets roaming in the field in the morning, or take in a beautiful sunset in the evening while listening to the soundscapes of cicadas.
