Step back in time in a renovated space filled with art, instruments, and pieces from far away places contrasted with modern appliances and eclectic furniture. After 15 years of working as a singer/songwriter and touring/recording musician, this home was the greatest and most beloved milestone of my young career. I spent my most inspiring creative musical hours here, along with warm sparkling spiced christmas parties and music jams with close friends. It began to feel like a gorgeous and grainy, old wooden instrument. Absorbing and resonating all the sweet sounds from almost 100 years past. I stayed true to the quirky squeak and creak- personality of this "old timer-charm" home, as a friend of mine would say. I hope with all my heart you enjoy it as well, like your favorite pair of beautifully weathered blue jeans. With all the new neighbors rushing into this newly booming area, the off street parking is becoming quite the luxury as well. Plug in and try out the instruments on the walls, if you're feeling inspired or even just curious. Walk to all the wonderful new foodie-approved joints close by. Give my sweet neighbors a wave on your way. They're all pretty amazing. Enjoy!. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. The area is quiet and still boasts access to downtown just a short six-minute drive away. Venture down and discover iconic bars, restaurants, and music spots. Enjoy coffee or cocktails on the classic southern front porch or screened in patio in the backyard. Want some time to relax? We have a cozy living room ideal for chatting or watching a movie. The kitchen and dining room are big and complete with everything you might need to cook a meal with friends. There is also a bar area set up for your enjoyment. Feel free to use the entire house, including the outdoor space. We also have easy to access laundry and closet space in each bedroom. One added bonus is access to a free electric car Charge-port 220V on premise! We live in the neighborhood. I am happy to help as much or as little as you need. The bungalow is located in a great nook, within walking distance of ice cream, coffee shops, breweries, vintage shopping, vegan restaurants, and very close to the ever-popular Rosepepper Cantina. Guests will be provided a map of hot neighborhood spots upon arrival. The house is located about a mile from the 5 Points district and a short (under 10 minutes) Uber/ Lyft to Broadway. We are close to two bus lines. Uber and Lyft are also very popular, cheap and easy to use. Scooter rentals (Byrd & Lime) are now all over town if you into that! We suggest you bring a helmet and enjoy yourself! It’s a very fun way to get around town. We want you to have fun! Let us know how we can help with that. This Germantown Gem has Mid-century Boho vibes in a clean, airy, and cozy apartment. This space was designed with lots of intention placing high priority on comfort, flow, convenience, and relaxation. Unwind in the extra wide soaking tub, rest your bones on the comfy layers of extra-clean bedding, have an epic game night, or just Netflix and chill after a long day of exploring. Short term rental permit: 2O18STRO59799 This apartment is the front unit of a one-story triplex home. There are long-term renters in the middle unit and we live in the back unit with our two babies. We love it here and hope you enjoy it, too! Outdoor space, front & backyard, is shared. This little gem of a home is perfectly located in the dreamiest of Nashville neighborhoods. Germantown is historic, hipster, food-centric, mural-filled, fun, people-watching at its best, truly walkable with a downtown skyline view from all the tree-lined sidewalks. You'll find beautiful historic homes, boutiques, restaurants, bars, yoga studios, hair and nail salons, spas, a grocery store, and lots of personality in this jam-packed little neighborhood! There are plenty of bus stops nearby, but Nashville really doesn't have the best public transit. We recommend using Uber/Lyft (about $7 to get to the honky tonks downtown). Bird/Lime Scooters are very inexpensive and are all over our neighborhood (~$3 to get broadway/riverfront). B cycle bike rentals are also inexpensive and available for rent nearby at the corner of 5th Ave N and Monroe St. Lastly, this neighborhood is just 6 square blocks and makes for a lovely mid-afternoon stroll. Please keep in mind that although this apartment can sleep 6 easily, there is only one bathroom.
