Join me, a chef, master baker, and Philly entrepreneur, for an exclusive cooking demo and dinner party at Breezy’s, recently dubbed “the perfect deli” by Philadelphia Magazine. As you watch me cook, I’ll share culinary techniques and stories from my time on Cake Boss and other Food Network and TLC shows. • Enjoy appetizers and a welcome cocktail (including nonalcoholic options) while I explain my ingredient choices, techniques, and seasonal menu considerations. • For the main course, I’ll demonstrate essential techniques like steak searing or knife skills (ever seen a chef julienne?), before serving you a beautifully plated entrée that is restaurant-perfect. • Finally, dessert—my specialty. Cheesesteak tour with the man who's eaten a thousand

What do you do when you visit Philadelphia? You eat cheesesteaks, of course. I’ve reviewed more than 1,200 cheesesteaks for my YouTube channel, and I’d like to take you to a few iconic shops in Philly’s Italian Market neighborhood. • We’ll begin with a cheesesteak at Pat’s King of Steaks, where I’ll share a little bit about my project and the history of this sandwich in Philadelphia. (Cheesesteaks are included in the cost; drinks and sides are extra.) • Next, we’ll walk across the street to Geno’s Steaks, where we’ll do a taste test, comparing the two rivals’ versions we’ve just tried. • Then we’ll take a short walk to Jaxx Taproom, a newer spot that takes a more artisanal approach to the cheesesteak. We’ll sit down for this third course, and compare the classics to the contemporary version. I’ll send you on your way with suggestions for other top cheesesteak shops you should visit while you’re in town.

A lot of restaurants out there serve Philadelphia cheesesteaks, but if you want to learn how to make them correctly, spend some time with the pros at Tony and Nick's, one of Philadelphia's best shops. • The restaurant's owner and I will welcome you to Tony and Nick's, where we'll tell you about my quest to find Philadelphia's best cheesesteak and the history of the restaurant. • We'll walk you through the fundamental components you need to make the perfect cheesesteak—bread, cheese, and meat—and the regional variations. • Then you'll pair up with Tony and Nick's chefs and learn how to work the griddle as you create a personalized cheesesteak with custom ingredients. Not only will you get to soak up the lore surrounding the Philadelphia cheesesteak, but you'll also get to eat one you've cooked yourself.

You will learn the out-sized roll our small city played in the birth and growth of America as you stroll through charming streets and alleys and begin to understand the building blocks that take us to the present day. You will learn how much of our colorful past is tied to beer. From 19th century German influence to amazing tales of prohibition ingenuity, the beer flowing through the taps comes from the present day but reaches back across the last two centuries - and it's delicious! On this amazing walking tour, you will eat some of the best food in Lancaster City You will meet your host and receive a brief introduction before exploring the city's best cuisine at six different locations in two hours. This tour offers medium portions, not samples. The food varies by tour time selected. Foods may include Danish, Italian, Nepali, Latin, and more! When possible the chefs are excited to share their culture and food with you. You will hear stories from immigrants and refugees who have settled in Lancaster to open shops featuring recipes from their home country. While en route, we will visit historical sites dating back 200+ years. This is a great team building activity for employers, families, or friends visiting Lancaster. Gift cards are also available. This is neither lunch nor dinner. But we provide more food on this tour than any other food tour in Lancaster. We are the only tour that accommodates vegans and gluten-free. After arrival and introductions, we'll start the process by showing you how to properly slash your dough and get it into the oven. this will allow our first loaves to bake and cool in time for sampling, because who wants to attend a sourdough class and not get to eat any of it? :) Next, we'll begin the process of mixing ingredients, going over the recipe and process. during the periods when the dough will be resting ill conduct a demonstration for a fun live cultured beverage, you can make at home or simply enjoy it during the baking class. Since there is so much time involved in producing a loaf, I'll be moving along with the steps as quickly as we can and spending most of the time between processes answering questions and explaining the why behind the techniques. classes typically last between 3-4 hours so light refreshments will be served throughout the class. You will leave class with, starter, instruction printout, a loaf of bread to bake the next and a bread proofing basket. Other things to note Let me know if you have any food allergies.
