We have an enhanced cleaning policy to ensure guest safety and peace of mind in the midst of uncertain times that includes: A top notch HEPA filter, spraying or wiping disinfectant on all surfaces and washing laundry with hot water and bleach. This is an eclectic and imaginative one bedroom cottage sanctuary with a front porch swing for watching east Austin mosey on by. Joyous comfort is to be had in the main bedroom with custom cathedral ceiling and tempurpedic bed. The bathroom features a walk in shower with custom tile and a clawfoot tub for all of your bathing dreams. There is an additional sleeping loft should you have a friend or two who would like to accompany you. City of Austin Operating License # 096563 This lot features a front house (all yours) and a back house that we stay at when we are in Austin. Please make yourself at home on the front and side porches but we ask that you give some privacy to the back yard immediately surrounding the back house. Thank you! I travel often but regularly stay in the back house on the property. I love getting to know guests and if our paths cross I look forward to talking with you. Central East Austin is a diverse and dynamic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. In addition to offering of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood! There is a parking spot that you are welcome to use directly in front of the house and there is also plenty of street parking with no permitting or street cleaning concerns. The closest B-Cycle station is a 15 minute walk away at Victory Grill on 11th St. Many of the 6th St restaurants and bars are a 10 minute walk as well. If you would prefer not to walk, there are a selection of ride share services such as RideAustin (our favorite), Lyft, or Uber. The street has two names, Hamilton Ave and Richard Overton Ave. Depending on your map source you may see either one pop up. Richard Overton is the oldest living American and American World War II veteran at 112 years of age. He lives down the block where be bought a house after the war ended.

You will also be provided with a phone number where we can be reached during the day and evening for any questions or issues you may have. The Narrows of the Harpeth is a beautiful area in Kingston Springs. There's access to the Harpeth River through the Narrows of Harpeth State Park just a mile down the road. AdventureWorks Zip Line is also located next to the property. Hiking and fishing adventures are all within walking distance. Car services do not travel to our area. Once you're here you won't want to leave! And to be honest, this would be an expensive Uber ride to/from Nashville. Get away from the city with us, and enjoy the chance to remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of downtown. A refundable damage deposit of $500 is required. The amount is NOT applied toward rent. This contemporary condo is located in a beautifully renovated historic building. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and the decor. The condo is near everything yet is located in a beautiful park like setting. The floor plan is open and the kitchen is modern - with newer built in stainless appliances and granite counter tops. The 2 full baths are luxurious - utilizing granite tops, ceramic tile and high end fixtures. The kitchen/dining/living areas have beautiful hardwood floors while the 2 bedrooms have wall to wall carpeting. There is a rooftop deck that is wonderful - access is via the elevator to the 5th floor - turn right off the elevator and take the stairs through the first door on the right (one flight). Access to the secured building is by keypad. A well appointed lobby welcomes you where an elevator awaits to take you to your 5th floor condo. I am available anytime from 7:00AM - 10:00PM for anything at all. I am available anytime after those hours above for emergencies. This area of Walnut Hills is adjacent to beautiful Eden Park and offers great proximity to downtown, numerous restaurants, and nightlife. There are also many scenic areas overlooking the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. The METRO bus stop is located one block from the condo. The RED BIKE bike renting kiosk is less than a 5 minute walk from the condo. Uber rides are about $3.00 to OTR and about $4.00 to Downtown and the sports stadiums. Please note that there is a binder that we have assembled that we have left on top of the desk in the condo. This binder showcases all of our recommended restaurants and sites - organized by neighborhood. Also - there is easy access to Eden Park if you walk to the public stairway just in front of the Beethoven Condos (the blue historic building on the corner of Sinton and Morris located across the street) There is a "Red Bike" kiosk for affordable bike rentals located at the bottom of the public stairs mentioned above.

We have a chiminea and adirondak chairs in the back yard for our guests use. Build a fire and roast some marshmallows with the family! Up to two dogs are welcome with a one time $75 pet fee. Our rental includes everything our guests need for a short or long stay. Fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. Laundry and dryer included. We are available for questions and do our utmost to respond to your inquiries as quickly as we can. A relaxing and pleasant experience is our priority. The bungalow is only a few minutes' walk from Tomahawk Lake, beautiful walking trails, and nearby waterfalls. Visit breweries and restaurants in local Black Mountain and explore fine dining and nightlife in Asheville—a 20-minute drive away. Less than a five minute drive from downtown Black Mountain and approximately 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Uber is available to get you to either location if needed.
