Our home is set on a hill on the edge of the small town of Broadway rated recently the safest town in the state of VA. Four mountain ranges are visible from our elevated property; it also borders a farm so you might observe cattle grazing. The Shenandoah Valley offers great gravel, road and MTB trails - and a vast network of hiking trails. Rosemary, a licensed aesthetician and licensed massage therapist, also offers spa services for a wonderfully restorative visit. Welcome to our peaceful space.

Situated on 10 wooded acres and surrounded by farms on rolling hills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, our recently-updated 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect place for your getaway. We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Secluded chalet near the top of a mountain on 8 acres, just 70 minutes from downtown DC, 20 minutes to old town Front Royal, close enough to get Instacart from groceries, Costco and Target, and private enough to enjoy your sunset view from the deck every night and to not see any other homes! The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.

Short hike to mountain stream on property picnic area. Water is from a deep well, tested and 100% free of any bacteria. No RVs.

We love our little imperfect home that creeks and looks pretty good for being over 100. Currently it is getting a makeover and upgrade. Please be aware of this as you are booking. It has a roomy, walkout basement apartment with windows in every room and is tucked away in the heart of downtown. This home dates back to the 1800s, with loads of character and occasionally a bit of noise from the upper levels. It’s not a high-end trendy spot, but it’s humble, and perfect in our eyes.

Built in 2019, our home was designed to make our guests' stay enjoyable. In 2023 a Grotto waterfall feature was added with surrounding 3-foot pond. There are two master bedrooms with walk-in showers, as well as a lovely play set in the back yard. The 1st floor master closet was converted into a simple nursery with a crib and baby swing. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has a queen size bed for parents and a space dedicated to toddlers, featuring a princess castle bed.
