The Sasquatch Inn is a secluded heavily wooded primitive cabin that sits on 32 acres, with some great views of the Smoky mountains. This is a hike-"Up/Down" the mtn. Hike up approximately 1/4 mile. We can also ferry your gear to and from the parking area in our Polaris General if need be but will need to make arrangements for that. The hike "is" uphill. Bring an umbrella and flashlights for your night-time hike up, and hiking shoes. The hike "up" the mountain can be slippery/muddy when raining.

This magical Maggie Valley Schoolhouse is one of a kind. Refurbished with handmade furniture, curated antiques and all of the comforting amenities of home, this Schoolhouse is the perfect mountain escape. Built in the 1800’s it was used as the first schoolhouse in the area. You will find treasures from its original days like a corn-cob floor patch, student names carved into the bead board wall and a bookshelf forged out of the original schoolhouse door.
